Instro Inferno

The TEEN TOWN blog has been on a roll lately...they're sharing a bunch of my comps over there, including the INSTRO INFERNO series.

UPDATE, 8/27: Unfortunately, it appears that the TEEN TOWN blog has been removed.

My MALAMONDO comps are on display at the TEEN TOWN blog, for some unknown reason...

UPDATE, 8/27: Looks like the TEEN TOWN blog has suddenly disappeared...

New Kogar Comp!

Kogar the Swinging Ape has been sharing some of his favorite Doo-Wop/Vocal Group singles via WFMU's Rock & Soul Ichiban over the past weeks.  Now he's bundled up the entire collection in one convenient download, with cover art by your humble servant.  Yes, I am still available for design work.  Reasonable rates.  Hit me up.

Here's a comic story from Pat Moriarity's BIG MOUTH (circa 1990s)...cartoons by Pat, inks by Jim Blanchard, story by yours, truly.  Read the whole dang thing at BoingBoing.

HAIRY-SCARY

Man Down!

Fellow WFMU supporter & all-around cool dude Greg Germani was the recent victim of a senseless hit-and-run.  Greg G (as he's typically known online) has been sharing his remarkable country music finds for years via WFMU's BEWARE OF THE BLOG, WFMU ICHIBAN, and etc.  A few years back I threw together a collection of off-the-wall C & W tunes titled COUNTRY TRASH; most of the songs included on the comp originated from Mr. G's stash.  Send healing vibes & other cool stuff:

If you would like to send a card to Greg, we would love it. We'll share them with him and post in his room. For now the best way to do this is send to: Greg Germani, c/o Beth Anne Harrill, 2586 Woodridge Drive, Decatur, GA 30033. Greg remains critical, but stable and in excellent care of Grady ICU. Again, visitation is family only at this time.
